Sharen Ann Lynn Baker, 61, of Madisonville, KY, passed away Thursday, August 13 2026, at her residence. She was born on November 12, 1965, in Madisonville to the late Norman Dale Lynn and Lomelda Sue Lynn (Franklin).
Sharen was a dedicated nurse and later furthered her education to become a CRNA. The highlight of her nursing career was being a flight nurse.
She loved riding her motorcycle and was a fan of Harley Davidson. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Kelly (Jeremy) VanBussum; son, Brandon (Maegean) Martin; sisters, Starla (Bill) Hendrix and Shala (Brad) Cullen; grandchildren, Ann-Mychal Martin, Royce Martin, Abigail VanBussum, and Colin VanBussum.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday August 18, 2026, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home – Madisonville Chapel. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Brad Cullen, Jeremy VanBussum, Bill Hendrix, Will Hendrix, Brandon Martin, and Tyler Cullen.
