Lillie “Jane” Todd Ashley, 65, of Nebo, KY, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at her home.
She was born on November 14, 1960, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Willie Lee Young Todd and Howard H. Todd. She was an employee of the Hopkins County Board of Education and worked as a cook and baker at Pride Elementary School. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting, and cooking. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Howard Andrew Todd and Samuel Louis Todd; sisters, Sherry Lee Reynolds and Angela Lynn White; and her grandson, Jackie Ray Ashley III.
Her survivors include her husband of forty-six years, Jackie Ashley of Nebo; daughter, Christina Modlin of Nebo; sons, Jackie Ray (Melissa) Ashley, Jr. of Killeen, TX, and Scott (Molly) Ashley of Waynesboro, TN; brother, Billy (Vonda) Todd of Lola, KY; grandchildren, Patricia Ashley, Tiandra Humphries, Brilee Modlin, Ava Ashley, and Aiden Ashley; great-grandson, Oliver Swingler; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Sunday, August 16, 2026, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Bro. Keith Wilcox officiating. Burial will be held at Nebo Cemetery in Nebo, KY.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour on Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Jackie Ashley, Jr., Sam Todd, Beau Smith, Zach Boyd, Danny Gibson, and Rick Gibson.
