Joyce E. Morrow Osborn, 86, of Manitou, KY, passed away on July 27, 2026, at her home.
She was born on July 28, 1939, in Grand Blanc, MI, to the late Mary Loucinda Dame Morrow and John “Floyd” Morrow. She worked in housekeeping at the Joseph Eddie Ballard Western Kentucky Veterans Center. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and knitting. To know her was to love her. She was the kind of woman whose life quietly pointed others to Christ. A faithful Sunday School teacher, she shared God’s Word with love and humility, touching the lives of many through her unwavering faith and servant’s heart.
She worked tirelessly alongside her family as tobacco farmers, never shying away from hard work. She cherished her family above all else and taught them the values of faith, kindness, humility, and perseverance through her own example.
Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in knowing she is now whole and in the presence of the Savior she faithfully loved and served. Her legacy of faith, love, and devotion will live on in her family and in all who were blessed to know her. She will be forever loved, deeply missed, and joyfully remembered until we meet again. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and her family. Joyce was a member of Concord Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gene Carroll Morrow.
Her survivors include her husband of sixty-one years, Charles “David” Osborn of Manitou; children, Donna (Alvin) Russ of Madisonville, Donald (Rachel) Osborn of Dixon, KY, Phillip (Stacey) Osborn of Clay, KY, Rebecca Allen of Madisonville, and Susan Clark of Manitou; brother, Robert Morrow of Earlington, KY; grandchildren, Samantha Johnson, David Allen, Brittany Shaw, Drew Osborn, Hali Sheets, Kelsey Christmas, Jonathan Dame, Courtney Pyle, Holley Whitfield, Stephanie Allen, Sarah Russ, and Laura Young; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Concord Baptist Church in Manitou, KY, with Bro. Eddie Fleming officiating. Burial to follow at Concord Cemetery in Manitou.
