Hilda Lee Patterson Millis, 96, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Madisonville Health and Rehab.She was born on December 23, 1929, in Earlington, KY, to the late Evra Bell Reynolds Patterson and Tolbert Patterson. She was formerly employed with K-Mart where she worked in shipping and receiving. She enjoyed flower gardening. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Hilda was a member of Second Baptist Church in Madisonville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Elmer Millis, Jr.; infant daughter, Janice Lee Millis; daughter, Donna Joan Millis Koon; and her siblings, Pearlie Patterson, Edward “Fleetie” Patterson, May Bell Bruder, Pansy Brown, Tollie Patterson, Leslie “Jack” Patterson, Arthur Patterson, James Patterson, Helen Woodford, Wade Patterson, William “Bill” Patterson, and May Alyne Todd.

Her survivors include her son-in-law, Stanley Koon of Madisonville; niece, Shirley (Larry) Moore of Cordele, GA; nephew, Ray (Stacie) Woodford of Madisonville; one grandson; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Fleming officiating. Burial to follow at Grapevine Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.
