Obituary

Linda Morse Miller, 77, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.She was born on July 2, 1948, in Dalton, KY, to the late Mary Lou Littlefield Morse and Durwood B. Morse. She retired as a beautician from the Hair Doc. She enjoyed traveling and planting flowers. Her greatest joy was spending time with her friends and family. Linda was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Earles, KY.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Owen Morse, Thelma Purdy, Doris Hughes, Shelby Morse, Walton Morse, and Ricky Morse.

Her survivors include her husband, William Miller of Madisonville; daughter, Melinda Holzhauser Tyrie of Madisonville; sister, Sharon Wright of Princeton, KY; brother, Bobby (Lisa) Morse of Princeton; grandchildren, Andrew (Laura) Browning, Kristina (Travis) Maddox, Rachel (Andrew) Carty, and Kayla Tyrie; great-grandchildren, Grayson Maddox, Steven Starr, Maliyah Starr, Hannah Maddox, Grant Mayhugh, Amelia Carty, Joshua Maddox, and Sophia Carty; and many loved nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Whitehouse officiating. Burial to follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 13560 KY-70, Bremen, KY 42325.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Ray Purdy, David Winstead, Travis Maddox, Shelby Morse, and Clarence Morse.
