Lucian Love, 80

Lucian Love, 80, of Madisonville, passed away on May 26, 2026, at Madisonville Health and Rehab.

He was born on June 9, 1945, in Slaughters, Kentucky to the late Gipson Love and Mattie Martin Love.

He was a member of the Abundant Grace Fellowship, where he had been a board member in Madisonville.

He is a retired coal miner from Peabody Coal and

was a member of U.M.W.A.

In addition to his parents, his preceded in death by his brothers and sisters; Ellaree Stabule, John Love, James Love, Bill Love and Mary Cromans.

He is survived by his Loving wife of 60 years, Sandra Love, two sons Maurice (Lisa) Love of Earlington, KY and Mark (Ann) Love of Madisonville, Sister in law and niece Karen and Missy Wix, Grandchildren; Jordan Love, Ashley Love, Whitney (Joey)James, Ethan Love, Jacob Elkins, and Jackson Elkins,  a Great Grandson; Oliver Reid James, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Abundant Grace Fellowship in Madisonville officiated by Rev. Danny Wix.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 12 noon until service time at the Church. Burial will be private at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville.

Pallbearers will be; Maurice Love, Mark Love, Jordan Love, Ethan Love, Joey James and Jackson Elkins.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Abundant Grace Fellowship Missions Program. Special Thanks to the staff at Madisonville Health and Rehab for the excellent care and Love shown to the family during this time.
