Obituary

Jewell Ann Campbell Wint, 82, of Henderson, KY, formerly of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at her home.She was born on September 29, 1943, in Sturgis, KY, to the late Pearl Grace Campbell and James S. Campbell. She was the owner and operator of Wint’s Alterations. She loved writing poetry, painting, working puzzles, and studying her bible. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and her family. Jewell attended Pleasant View Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Janice Franklin and Karen Adams; and her brother, Bill Campbell.

Her survivors include her sons, James Wint of Henderson, KY, and Troy (Belinda) Wint of Wyandotte, MI; sister, Linda Franklin of Madisonville; brother, Larry (Janice) Campbell of Bremen, KY; grandchildren, Amanda Wint, Kevin Wint, and Kayla Wint; great-grandchildren, Boston Wint, Crosby Wint, and Charlie Wint; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Crabtree officiating. A private burial will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday at the funeral home.
