Tommy Adamson, 77

Tommy Adamson, 77, of Nortonville, KY passed away on April 29,2026 at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh, IN.

He was born on September 15, 1949 in Nortonville, KY to the late Espy and Pauline Adamson.

Tommy was of the Christian faith. He had served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran.  He was a retired coal miner.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Ann Marie Adamson; two sons, Jerry Allan Adamson and Jeffrey Lynn Adamson; one sister, Sandy Vincent.

Tommy is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Sharon Adamson of Nortonville, KY; his son, Ted O’Brian Adamson and his wife, Jonell, of Nortonville, KY; two sisters, Dorothy Nell Gibson of Madisonville, KY and Jennie Brown of Madisonville, KY; six grandkids; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 1:00PM at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY with Rev. Gary Brown officiating and burial to follow at Gamblin Cemetery in Nortonville, KY.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 11:00AM until service time at 1:00PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Brian Adamson, J.T. Adamson, Kyle Gunn, Chad Stokes, and Troy Gibson.

Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY is in charge of the arrangements.
