In Madisonville, a phone call to the police about a loud, upstairs neighbor is what led to her arrest. With a half empty bottle of alcohol in plain view, Hannah Kelly began yelling at the officers. They told her that they would leave if she would calm down but she refused to comply. Kelly was ultimately subdued and taken into custody.

The long-time mayor of Sacramento is deciding not to seek re-election. Betty Howard has served for 18 years. Like many mayors around the country, much of her time has been spent dealing with water and sewer system issues. Howard is grateful to her many hard working employees.
More flights out of Owensboro are possible. The Airport Board has recommended United Express service for Owensboro-Daviess County Regional Airport. It’s operated by SkyWest Airlines. If approved, the flights would connect Owensboro to Chicago O’Hare and Washington Dulles. That would offer access to United Airlines’ global network.
