Bonnie Henderson Wiles, 101, of Madisonville, KY passed away on February 13, 2026, at Ridgewood Terrace Health and Rehabilitation in Madisonville.
She was born on September 2, 1924, in Anton, KY to the late Nellie Myrtle Herald Howard and Rubert Marshall Henderson. She was formerly a waitress at the Dinky Diner in Madisonville. Bonnie enjoyed quilting, sewing and genealogy research but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Wiles; son, Billy Joe Wiles and daughter-in-law, Nadine Wiles; brother, Morris Coleman Henderson; sister, Gertie Lee Henderson Jones; stepson, Glen Allen Wiles; and her son-in-law, Larry Smith.
Survivors include her daughter, Judy Ann Smith of Madisonville; son, Larry Thomas (Melissa) Wiles of Madisonville; grandsons, Stephen Wiles of Paducah, KY, Gregory Smith of Evansville, IN, Chris (Windy) Smith of Pasco, WA, Derrick (April) Smith, Shawn (Dianna) Wiles both of Newburgh, IN, Brian Wiles of Madisonville and Jon (Karolyn) Wiles of Madisonville; granddaughter, Kimberly Wiles of Madisonville and Beverly (Walt) Creamer of Evansville, IN; numerous great grandchildren; numerous great greatgrandchildren; several step-greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Jim Logan officiating and Bro. Timothy Wiles assisting. Burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.
A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Thursday at the funeral home.
