Donna Joan Koon Obituary
Donna Joan Koon, 69, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.
She was born on August 17, 1956, in Madisonville, KY, to Hilda Lee Patterson Millis and Elmer “J.R.’ Junior Millis. She retired from the Walmart distribution center in Hopkinsville, KY, and also worked at Walmart in Madisonville. She loved reading and also Anne Rulebooks, and watching court shows on tv. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant sister, Jancie Lee Millis.
Her survivors include her husband of twenty-eight years, Stanley Koon; mother, Hilda Lee Patterson Millis; her son; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville with Pastor Jonathan Lail officiating.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Scott Koon, Andrew Koon, Alysha Koon, and Tammy Koon.
