Wilson Guynn III Obituary
Wilson Lawrence “Bill” Guynn, 69, of Madisonville, KY passed away unexpectedly on December 29, 2025, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN.
He was born on November 5, 1956, at Ft. Campbell, KY, the son of the late Mr. Wilson Lawrence Guynn JR and Mrs. Mildred Rose “Rosie” Townsend Guynn. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey Allen Guynn on September 3, 2017.
Mr. Guynn was a member of the First Baptist Church in Madisonville, KY where he was active in the Youth Department, he enjoyed going to Disney World, Crappie fishing in Florida, he enjoyed hunting with his family, he retired from Century Aluminum, and most of all he enjoyed spoiling his girls.
He is survived by his daughters, Ashleigh Guynn of Raleigh, NC and Morgan Guynn of Kuttawa, KY; his sister, Pam (John) Stewart of Louisville, KY; his brother, Donnie (Tijauna) Guynn of Madisonville, KY; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 3, 2026, at 2:00PM at First Baptist Church in Madisonville, KY with Dr. Bill Bursztynski officiating with burial to follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Saturday January 3, 2026, from 11:00AM until the service hour at the church.
Memorial contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church Youth Department.
