Anthony “Tony” Faulk Obituary
Anthony “Tony” R. Faulk, 78, of Earlington, KY passed away on April 4, 2026 at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, KY.
He was born on July 4, 1947 in Earlington, KY to the late Charles Frank and Marie Overton Faulk.
Tony was a member of Earlington First Baptist Church.
He started working at age twelve delivering newspapers. He worked at numerous gas stations, the plastic factory in Dawson Springs, various coal mines, and Coalfield Flooring. He served on Mine Rescue, was a member of Gideons, and founded and was the former owner of Coalfield Flooring.
He was a loving husband, a devoted daddy, and a proud Grandad. He will always be remembered for his large personality, big smile, giving heart, and unconditional love. Tony shared fifty-nine years of marriage with his loving wife, Carolyn. They built a life full of love, generosity, and hard work. His greatest accomplishment was the title of Daddy and Grandad. He poured his heart into making a better life for his family.
Tony is survived by his wife, Carolyn Faulk of Earlington, KY; two daughters Misti Hight and her husband, Rick, of Madisonville, KY and Amy Smith and her husband, Tim, of Earlington, KY; four grandchildren, Aaron Hight, Mallorie Ashby and her husband, Aaron, Abbi Stephens and her husband, Eric, and Allee Rogers; six great grandchildren, Ethan Cornwell, Livie Cornwell, Charlee Hight, Henry Ashby, Ada Ashby, and Anderson Stephens; two nieces like daughters Vanessa Devers and Nicole Taylor.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 2 :00 PM at Earlington First Baptist Church in Earlington, KY with Jonathan Harralson officiating and burial to follow at Old Salem Church Cemetery in Mortons Gap, KY.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 11:00AM until service time at 2:00PM at the church.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Hight, Aaron Ashby, Eric Stephens, Gerald Chadwick, Matt Duncan, and John Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Duncan and Mike Hight
Memorial contributions may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospitals and Ronald McDonald House.
