Lance Robert Millard, 69, of Madisonville passed away Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.
He was born on November 6, 1956, in Phoenix, AZ, to the late Oren Wallace Millard, Jr. and Betty Wade Millard. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Ann Todd Millard.
Lance was employed at Ahlstrom and had also worked at Birmingham Bolt. He was of the Presbyterian faith. He liked motorcycles and working on vehicles. He had a love for UK basketball and spending time with his family and friends. Lance was also a Boy Scout leader.
He is survived by his son, Josh Millard; daughter, Amanda (Stephen) Chambers; and four grandchildren, Alex Chambers, McKenzie Kennedy, Abby Chambers, and Lanie Chambers.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home – Madisonville Chapel with Bro. Lon Lorton officiating. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday and from 10:00 A.M. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Chambers, Jimmy Todd, Aaron Todd, Johnny Laffoon, John Perkins, Billy Schaefer, and Jody Larkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Millard, Lanie Chambers, and Mark Cunningham.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association. Envelopes will be made available at the funeral home.
