Susan Brunson Scott, 80

She was born on September 23, 1944, in St. Charles, KY, to the late Lillie Bell Mohan Brunson and Elbert Franklin Brunson. She was formerly employed as a press operator for Vincent Plastics in Henderson, KY. She loved watching soap operas, especially the Young and Restless, and she also enjoyed camping. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Susan was a member of Lake Grove Baptist in St. Charles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Shellie Joe Scott, Sr.; daughter, Marjorie Dianne Gebhardt; grandchildren, Jason Nathaniel Cannon, Samuel Joe Lindsey, and Nathaniel Lee Fairchild; her sisters, Mary Ann Woodruff and Patsy Faye Martin.

Her survivors include daughters, Tina Rose (Roger) Johns of St. Charles, Connie Sue (Tony Dausman) Marks of Newburgh, IN, Zoniweese Marks of Earlington, KY, Mary Michelle (Terry) Clark of Nortonville, KY, Glenda Faye Cunningham of Evansville, IN, and Shelia Dianne Russell of Evansville; son, Shellie Joe “Joey” (Ginger) Scott, Jr. of Madisonville; brothers, Clemons Franklin Brunson, Stephen O’Neal Brunson, William Odell Brunson, and Roger Dale Brunson; twenty-three grandchildren; sixty-seven great-grandchildren; eleven great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
