Obituary
He was born on November 29, 1960, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Etta Jean Phipps Jackson and Lindel Ray Jackson. He was employed as a coal miner for forty years with Pyro and Warrior Coal Mines. He loved the Lord first and foremost and his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, and playing bass guitar in church. Lindel was a member of Living Waters Church. No matter what was going on or how bad he felt, he always wanted to make sure the people he came in contact with knew about Jesus and then his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kayleigh Guill.
His survivors include the love of his life for forty-four years, his wife, Pam Suttle Jackson of Slaughters; daughter, Heather (Charles) Peach of Hanson and Laura (Junior) Guill of Slaughters; sister, Debbie (Donnie) Davis of Providence, KY; grandchildren, Jackson Thomas, Aubrey Guill, Lucchese Peach, and Caroline Peach; aunt, Bebee Grace of Nashville, TN; several brothers and sisters-in-law; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Pastor David Jackson officiating and Pastor Chris Manning assisting. Burial to follow at Slaughters Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Cates, Joey Suttle, Steve Turley, Junior Guill, Jackson Thomas, and Tommy Witherspoon.
