The Family Foundation of Kentucky puts up a legislative scorecard every year to rate a lawmaker’s pro-family votes. Senator Robby Mills of Hopkins County is one of only 10 state lawmakers on the list with a score of 100. The foundation says this is the most comprehensive pro-family legislative scorecard in the Commonwealth. The rating includes the core issues of family, life, religious freedom, human sexuality, and human dignity. It’s compiled because many Kentuckians want to know where their elected officials are on the issues impacting families.

(Clip in audio below) According to the report, Medicaid covered nearly half of all births in rural areas in 2023, the majority occurring in hospitals.
