8th grader, Sadie Kirk, breaks the North Hopkins single game strikeout record

North Hopkins softball defeated Webster County 8-2 on Thursday. The Lady Maroons connected on four home runs (Kenzie Stoltz-2, Maggie Killough-1, Sydney Skeen-1) in the winning effort. Along the way, 8th grader, Sadie Kirk, broke a single game team record throwing 18 strikeouts. The previous record thrown was 17. Listen to Trevor Rice’s post game interview with Sadie below!
