The FREE 2024 Fall Downtown Window Painting event is getting ready to take over downtown!!!
Downtown turns into a one-of-a-kind spooky gallery with children’s paintings lining Main St. and beyond! Take a drive or a stroll and find your favorite! The paintings are up through the end of October, however, they are exposed to the elements, so rain showers may impact the painting.
Gather up your young artists and come on out to enjoy a tradition that’s been a part of our community for generations.

It’s time again for our 2024 Fall Window Painting in Madisonville. This year our registration will take place behind the Old Court House in the covered drive thru area. Registration will be from 1:00pm-5:30pm on Thursday, Oct. 17th. And again at 1:00pm on Oct 18th or until all of the windows have been distributed. We will not be doing a pre-registration! To make things go faster, if possible, please print out the form and fill it out prior to arrival at registration.
We need to stress this year that there MUST be adult supervision while children are painting. Unfortunately, we have lost some windows this year because care was not taken with the paints and some messes were left behind. These business owners are doing us a favor to let us use their windows and we should treat them with respect. Please use drop cloths to protect window sills and sidewalks.
We want to stress again this year that the drawing MUST be “Family Friendly” in keeping with the Fall Window Painting theme. Please no satanic or evil implications should be expressed in your drawing. A sketch of your drawing must be provided upon registration. Our judges will disqualify those that are not Family Friendly.
