Louise Foster Hubbard, 91, of Slaughters, KY, passed away onĀ September 21, 2024, at her home.
She was born on November 7, 1932, in Calhoun, KY to the late William McKindley Foster and Mertie A. Mesker Foster. She was a member of Slaughters Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She was a homemaker, who loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed piecing quilts, flower gardening, taking road trips, and enjoyed singing at nursing homes for the residents.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight years James Hubbard, Jr. on May 9, 2017; her son, William M. Hubbard; brothers, M.C. Foster, Preston S. Foster, Bobby Lee Foster, Curtis Foster and Billy Wayne Foster; sisters, Elora Geneva Tompkins, Revina Sutton, Dorothy Mae Forker, Lois Marie Noll and Jo Ann Forker.
Survivors include her daughter, Lori Ann Frasier (Brent Kingery) of Madisonville, KY; son, Mark Anthony (Julie) Hubbard of Des Plaines, IL; grandchildren, Sarah Frasier of Hanson, KY, Aliza and Andrea Hubbard of Des Plaines; step grandchildren, Elizabeth and Aiden Salmons of Des Plaines; great-grandchild, Addison Kate Gunn; and twenty-seven nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Pastor Carl Nelson officiating. Burial to follow at Slaughters Cemetery in Slaughters, KY.
A visitation will be held from 12 pm until the funeral hour Tuesday at the funeral home.
The pallbearers are Andrew Marlow, Damien Marlow, Glenn Sharon, Melvin Sisk, Robert Sisk, Jr., and Lee Vickrey.
